The Exterior
| The front of the house and its basement. The blue paint was mixed with budgie sand to give a textured "pebble dash" effect. |  |

| The tiles are individually applied pieces of balsa, covered with stone textured grey paint. The ridge tiles were cut from heavy cartridge paper, folded and glued down. The flashings are thin lead sheet. |  |
